This is my work table. I try to ration my time to be here as I have other interests.

My name is  Elke, I've lived in Edinburgh for over 40 years. I'm a qualified and practised social worker, I ran two Children's clothes shop, retrained as a Modern Languages School teacher and taught German to primary school kids until the funding was cut.

Amidst all that, my partner and I raised three handsome sons. Now they're all grown up and on their different paths.

For the last sixteen years I've developed a small practice for Reflexology, I've joined a London Poetry Translation Group and returned to one of my lifelong hobbies, Crafting

Hobbyworks is the platform for me to develop interesting ideas using natural and organic materials. Some I may sell, some I often give away.

I hope you  like what you see, I certainly enjoyed making them.
